ecovio® F23B1

ecovio® F23B1 by BASF is a biodegradable, weldable compound for compostable film. It is a compound of aliphatic-aromatic copolyester ecoflex® F and polylactic acid (PLA). This grade contains anti-blocking and slip agents. ecovio® F23B1 exhibits high melt strength, good thermostability up to 230°C and good mechanical properties. This grade demonstrates excellent processability, down gauging up to 10 µm with thickness 20-120 µm and wet strength. It is printable in 8 colors by flexo printing. This grade is designed for conversion to flexible films using a blown film process. It can be used for manufacturing of t-shirt bags and organic waste bags.
