Ultraform® N 2640 Z2 UNC Q600

Ultraform® N 2640 Z2 UNC Q600 by BASF is an impact modified (PUR-modified) acetal polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer grade. Possesses high impact strength and shows excellent chemical resistance to gasoline (including those containing ethanol and methanol), diesel fuels, and biodiesel. Offers high rigidity, good mechanical strength and elastic properties, high toughness, dimensional stability and excellent sliding friction properties. It can be processed using injection molding. Ultraform® N 2640 Z2 UNC Q600 is used in designing components that require withstanding high impact stress. Typical applications include toys components such as bicycle frames, automotive parts such as cladding elements and windshield wiper units, and clips, snap and fastening elements.
