Ultramid® 8202C HS BK-102

Ultramid® 8202C HS BK-102 is a heat stabilized, low viscosity, black pigmented PA6 homopolymer. Possesses modified crystalline structure, faster cycles, good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Suitable for applications such as gears, valves, fittings, insulators, bushings, slides, window hardware, wiring devices, textile components and furniture casters. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
