Ultramid® 8232G HS FR BK-102

Ultramid® 8232G HS FR BK-102 by BASF is a heat stabilized, flame retardant, black pigmented PA6 grade reinforced with 25% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits excellent melt stability and an excellent balance of high strength, stiffness and heat distortion temperature along with outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Ultramid® 8232G HS FR BK-102 is suitable for processing by injection molding. Suitable for applications such as connectors, terminal blocks, switches and receptacles, coil bobbins, and appliance housings. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
