Ultramid® 8235G HS BK-102

Ultramid® 8235G HS BK-102 is a heat stabilized, black pigmented PA6 grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, excellent creep strength and sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, easy processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits excellent strength, stiffness and high temperature performance along with outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Suitable for applications such as power tool housings, cattle ear taggers, luggage frames, fans and pressure regulator housings. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
