Ultramid® 8262G HS BK-125

Ultramid® 8262G HS BK-125 is a heat stabilized, black pigmented PA6 grade reinforced with 20% glass and mineral fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, excellent creep strength and sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, thermal stability, excellent strength, stiffness, high impact resistance, easy processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits low warp and good resistance to sink mark formation along with outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Suitable for applications such as automotive housings, brackets, hubs, shrouds and roller bearings. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
