Ultramid® 8272G HS BK-102

Ultramid® 8272G HS BK-102 is a thermally modified, black pigmented PA6 grade. Possesses an excellent balance of engineering properties in combination with good elastic properties, excellent melt strength, high melt viscosity, high dimensional stability and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits excellent permeability and improved strength, stiffness and creep resistance compared to standard blow molding grades. Offers outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, oils, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by blow molding extrusion. Suitable for metal replacement and used for air ducts, reservoirs and covers. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
