Ultramid® 8281 HS GP

Ultramid® 8281 HS GP is a heat stabilized PA6 grade. Possesses an excellent balance of engineering properties in combination with good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength, excellent sliding friction properties and self-lubricating characteristics. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Retains its properties at elevated temperatures and exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, greases, oils, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to abrasion, corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by rotomolding. Suitable for applications such as fuel tanks, chemical storage tanks, hydraulic oil reservoirs, cyclones, and heat resistance containers. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
