Ultramid® 8350 HS

Ultramid® 8350 HS is a heat stabilized, impact modified PA6 copolymer. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, medium flexibility, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by extrusion. Used for tubing and jacketing applications such as such as automotive vacuum tubing, cable jacketing, and high pressure and hydraulic hoses. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
