Ultramid® A3L HP

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BASF
Ultramid® A3L HP is a polyamide 66 grade. Is a heat stabilized, impact modified grade offering high flow. Possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at ambient and low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Exhibits outstanding resistance to abrasion, chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Applications include fasteners and clamps.
