Ultramid® A3Z3

Ultramid® A3Z3 by BASF is an impact modified, unreinforced, polyamide 66 (PA 66). This grade possesses good electrical properties, elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. It provides good toughness at low temperature, high impact resistance, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. It exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. It is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Ultramid® A3Z3 is processed by injection molding. It is used for technical parts such as cable ducts, hinges, wall plugs, fasteners and clips. It is compliant with EC Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH), RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
