Ultramid® B3EG7 BK00564 by BASF is a PA6 grade reinforced with 35% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, enhanced impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Ultramid® B3EG7 BK00564 is suitable for industrial articles and electrical insulating parts.
