Ultramid® Endure D3G10 BK20560

Ultramid® Endure D3G10 BK20560 by BASF is polyamide 66 (PA 66) grade reinforced with glass fiber. Offers long-term heat aging resistance, excellent knit line, welding strength and superior flow. Possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength, good appearance and excellent processability. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants. Also exhibits resistance to refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic, aromatic hydrocarbons and solvents. It is also resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts, alkalis and stress-crack. It is processed by injection molding. Is an alternative to metal and is suitable for all automotive parts exposed to higher thermal continuous use over a prolonged period of time. Applications include parts of charge air duct such as intercooler end caps, resonators, intake manifolds and throttle valves. Ultramid® Endure D3G10 BK20560 is also used for exhaust components, gas ducts and turbo charger.
