Ultramid® Flex F38L

Ultramid® Flex F38 L by BASF is a high viscosity, partly bio-based co-polyamide (PA) grade. Offers good softness, transparency even at low temperatures, low water absorption and low humidity. Exhibits high melt stability, outstanding bubble stability and higher blow-up ratio. Provides increased tear- & puncture resistance in films and changed barrier properties. Allows for conventional stretching ratios in deep-drawing processes without any stress whitening. Ultramid® Flex F38 L can be used in vacuum skin-, cheese ripening bags- and modified atmosphere packaging.
