Ultramid® HMG14 HS BK7795

Ultramid® HMG14 HS BK7795 is a polyamide 66 grade reinforced with 60% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, dimensional stability, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Shows lower moisture absorption, improved retention of mechanical properties after moisture conditioning and imparts exceptional surface finish. Exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Used for applications requiring very high rigidity and should and for components that are constructed with metal.
