Ultramid® HPN 9362

Ultramid® HPN 9362 is an impact modified PA6 grade resin reinforced with 40% mineral fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Offers low warpage, good flow, good surface appearance and reduced cycle times along with excellent balance of strength, stiffness and toughness combined with a high level of drop weight impact. Provides high rigidity, hardness, good toughness at low temperatures, good thermal stability, high impact resistance, excellent processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits excellent resistance to heat, chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, greases, oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Recommended for applications such as wheel cover and hubs, mirror housings, appliance components, power tool housings, small engine pulleys, and trimmer spools. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
