Ultramid® N-276 NF3001

Ultramid® N-276 NF3001 by BASF is a heat-stabilized polyamide 66 grade with 40% mineral and glass reinforcement. It possesses good elastic properties, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. It provides good toughness at low temperatures, dimensional stability, high rigidity, high mechanical strength and stiffness. It shows thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. It exhibits outstanding resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, degreasing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. It is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. It can be processed by injection molding. Ultramid® N-276 NF3001 can be used for material parts in electrical, mechanical, automotive and chemical engineering.
