Ultramid® SEG8 GY7716B

Ultramid® SEG8 GY7716B is an impact modified PA6 grade resin reinforced with 40% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Offers good UV resistance, excellent surface appearance, flow properties and shows lower pressure, temperature, and cycle time requirements than conventional grades. Provides good balance of physical properties such as high rigidity, hardness, strength, stiffness, good toughness at low temperatures, good thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Exhibits excellent resistance to chemicals, hot lubricants, hot water, fuels, hydraulic fluids and coolants, refrigerants, dyes, paints, cleaners, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and many other solvents. Is resistant to corrosion, to aqueous solutions of salts and alkalis and to stress-crack formation compared to many amorphous plastics. Processed by injection molding. Recommended for gas assist parts and those requiring long lengths. Used for furniture, lawn, garden and other exterior applications. Is compliant with RohS directive 2011/65/EC and WEEE directive 2002/96/EC.
