Ultrason® S 2010 NAT

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by BASF
Ultrason® S 2010 NAT is an unreinforced, medium viscosity, high-temperature resistant, amorphous thermoplastic derived from polysulfone (PSU) by BASF. Exhibits outstanding thermal stability, creep strength at high temperatures, superheated steam, oil, fuel, fluorine and coolants. Provides good toughness, high stiffness, good dielectric properties, high mechanical strength, very good fire behavior, excellent hydrolysis resistance, very high long-term service temperature, good dimensional stability and good electrical insulating capacity. Offers high resistance to fracture, impact, heat, thermal aging and weathering. Can be processed using injection molding. Ultrason® S 2010 NAT is recommended for automotive applications such as fuse encapsulation, connectors, heating system & headlight components and household applications. It complies with the EU Directive 2006/122/EC (PFOA), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and EC Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH).
