Quadrathane™ ALC-95A-B30

Quadrathane™ ALC-95A-B30 is a water insoluble, white colored, high performance, aliphatic polycarbonate based thermoplastic polyurethane grade. It contains 30% barium sulfate by weight and is free of phthalate-based plasticizers. Exhibits mild odor, excellent mechanical properties, oxidative stability, biocompatibility, superior biostability in long term implantable devices, chemical resistance, consistent melt flow properties, non-yellowing during aging and softening at body temperature. Is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Quadrathane™ ALC-95A-B30 by Biomerics is used in applications where body softening and biodurability are required such as hemodialysis, drainage and pacemaker leads. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO-10993, ISO 9001:2008 and meets with the requirements of FDA directive 177.1680 for food contact applications.
