Quadrathane™ ARC-55D

Quadrathane™ ARC-55D by Biomerics is a naturally clear, high performance, aromatic polycarbonate based thermoplastic polyurethane grade. It is free of phthalate-based plasticizers. Exhibits excellent mechanical properties, oxidative stability, biocompatibility, superior biostability in long term implantable devices, chemical resistance, consistent melt flow properties, high resiliency, toughness and chemical resistance. Is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Quadrathane™ ARC-55D is used in applications where solvent resistance and biodurability are required such as vascular access and orthopaedics. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO-10993, ISO 9001:2008 and meets with the requirements of FDA directive 177.1680 for food contact applications.
