Quadrathane™ ARC-80A-B20

Quadrathane™ ARC-80A-B20 by Biomerics is a white colored, high performance, aromatic polycarbonate based thermoplastic polyurethane grade. It contains 20% barium sulfate by weight and is free of phthalate-based plasticizers. Exhibits excellent mechanical properties, oxidative stability, biocompatibility, superior biostability in long term implantable devices, consistent melt flow properties, high resiliency, toughness and chemical resistance. Is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Quadrathane™ ARC-80A-B20 is used in applications where solvent resistance and biodurability are required such as vascular access and orthopaedics. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO-10993, ISO 9001:2008 and meets with the requirements of FDA directive 177.1680 for food contact applications.
