Borcoat™ HE3453

Borcoat™ HE3453 by Borealis is a bimodal, recyclable, high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. It contains UV- and thermal stabilizers. Exhibits good melt strength, very good environment stress crack resistance (ESCR), excellent mechanical properties at low and high design temperatures. Designed for processing by flat die or crosshead extrusion. Borcoat™ HE3453 is recommended as a top coat for a three layer PE system used in steel pipe coating. Complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006.
