Bormed™ RB801CF-01 by Borealis is an odorless, recyclable, polypropylene (PP) random copolymer with high ethylene content. It is sterilized by steam and ethylene oxide. Exhibits medium molecular weight distribution, high gloss, low haze, high water vapor barrier, high softness and high impact strength. Possesses good contact clarity, good gloss, good surface finish and low sealing initiation temperature. Designed for processing by injection molding, blown- and cast film extrusion. Bormed™ RB801CF-01 is used in non-oriented films, secondary packaging, pouches/bottles for injectable solutions, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, parenteral nutrition bags & IV solutions. Typical applications include ampoules/small bottles for eye, ear & nose drops, medical devices or pharmaceutical & diagnostic packaging. Complies with EP, USP, DMF and EC Regulation 1907/2006.
