BorPEX™ HE1878 by Borealis is a high molecular weight, high density polyethylene (HDPE, HMW) grade. Contains peroxide as crosslinking agent and stabilizers. Exhibits enhanced processability, excellent product consistency, cleanliness, free flow and well balanced powder size distribution. Designed for processing by pipe extrusion method. BorPEX™ HE1878 is recommended for economic production of crosslinked pipes (PE-X) used in plumbing, relining, industrial, district heating domestic water- and gas applications.
