Borstar® HE6063 by Borealis is an odorless, UV-stabilized, colorable, bimodal high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. It provides high processability, surface hardness, reduced shrinkage, excellent toughness and environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR). It shows excellent abrasion-, scratch-, termite-, UV- and petroleum-jelly resistance. It exhibits excellent weathering resistance, low water permeability and low heat deformation. It is designed for processing by extrusion method. It is an ideal solution especially for buried power cables. Borstar® HE6063 is used in jacketing of energy and communication cables. It complies with EC Regulation No (1935/2004, 2023/2006 and 1907/2006), REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
