Casico™ FR4804

Casico™ FR4804 by Borealis is an odorless, low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) flame retardant, polyethylene (PE) grade. It contains inorganic filler and a novel char-forming additive. It exhibits excellent processing, system aging compatibility and reduced toxic or corrosive gas emissions. It shows cable downsizing and offers low water permeability. It is UV stabilized and suitable for coloring. It is designed for processing by PVC/PE extrusion. Casico™ FR4804 is recommended for jacket for data cables and 90 °C rated jacket for energy distribution cables. Complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006, WEEE, RoHS and REACH.
