Fibremod™ CB301SY by Borealis is a chemically coupled engineering polypropylene (PP) grade reinforced with 30 % carbon fiber. Offers outstanding mechanical properties with up to 40% weight saving potential compared to lightweight metals. It is insoluble in water and can be recycled using modern methods of shredding and cleaning. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Fibremod™ CB301SY is recommended for automotive applications including door module carriers, engine components, structural seat parts, and tailgate carriers. Complies with the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
