Fibremod™ GB306SAF

Fibremod™ GB306SAF is a Polypropylene (PP) grade reinforced with 35% short glass fiber. Exhibits long-term high temperature-, chemical- and vibration resistance combined with high fatigue performance. Allows operating temperature cycles between -40°C and 120°C, with a peak temperature of 140°C. As an alternative to polyamide this grade offers 15% weight saving, better dimensional stability, easy processing, low creep, significantly improved acoustic behaviour, lower production costs and it is not dependent on humidity. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, less sensitive to welding lines and has a special stabilization package for long-term high heat stabilization making it ideal for under-the-bonnet applications like air intake manifolds.
