Fibremod™ GD301FE

Fibremod™ GD301FE is a Polypropylene (PP) grade reinforced with 30% short glass fiber. As an alternative to polyamide this grade shows good toughness performance, narrow tolerance and gap, good creep behaviour, high stiffness up to 80°C and allows flexibility in production and base polymers. It has high crash, safety requirements and improved processing. Offers minimum 15% weight reduction, wide conversion window, good surface-, organoleptic properties, 10% lower system costs and is moldable using existing polyamide tools. It does not require pre-drying and conditioning. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, less sensitive to welding lines and has excellent balanced mechanical performance making it the material of choice for a wide range of applications from pedal carriers to lower bumper stiffeners.
