Visico™ LE0542

Visico™ LE0542 by Borealis is a silane crosslinkable polyethylene (PE) compound. The excellent distribution of carbon black and additives results in smooth semi-conductive shield. It provides excellent surface finish. It is designed for processing by co-extrusion with LDPE silane insulation layer. It is recommended for semi-conductive screen in silane crosslinkable medium voltage (MV) AC power cables with rated voltages up to 36 kV. It can be used as conductor and insulation screen for bonded cable constructions and as conductor screen for strippable cable constructions. Visico™ LE0542 complies with EC Regulation 1907/2006, REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
