EB853 by Braskem is a low density polyethylene homopolymer grade (produced under high pressure in a Tubular reactor). Does not contain the substance Bisphenol A (BPA, CAS # No. 80-05-7) in its composition. Insoluble in water while soluble in xylene. Films formed show outstanding optical properties, good sealability, and low gel content. It can be processed using blown and cast film extrusion. Efficiently used in applications including films for diapers and other general purposes as well as LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) and HDPE (high density polyethylene) blends. EB853 by Braskem meets the requirements for olefin polymers as defined in 21 CFR, section 177.1520 issued by FDA-Food and Drug Administration.
