GP100BKXP

GP100BKXP by Braskem is a high density polyethylene grade available as yellow, orange, blue and black solid. It is classified as PE 100, according to ISO 12162. Does not contain the substance Bisphenol A (BPA, CAS # No. 80-05-7) in its composition. Insoluble in water while soluble in xylene. Offers high mechanical properties and has excellent resistance to hydrostatic pressure and stress cracking. Produced with bimodal technology and has high molar mass. It can be processed using pipe extrusion. Suitable for jacketing of underwater cables, pipes for mining, pipes for water distribution, underwater emissaries and pressurized sewer systems. GP100BKXP by Braskem meets the requirements for olefin polymers as defined in 21 CFR, section 177.1520 issued by FDA-Food and Drug Administration in force on the date of publication of this specification. The additives present are covered in appropriate regulation by FDA, NBR 15561:07 and ISO 4427:07.
