HS5403

HS5403 by Braskem is a translucent/ white, high density polyethylene copolymer grade. Does not contain the substance Bisphenol A (BPA, CAS # No. 80-05-7) in its composition. Insoluble in water while soluble in xylene. Exhibits high die swell, good environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR), good surface quality and high transparency. It can be processed using injection molding and blow molding. Suitable for small volume bottles for cleaning products, detergents, chemicals, pharmaceutical products and fabric softener. HS5403 by Braskem meets the requirements for olefin polymers as defined in 21 CFR, section 177.1520 issued by FDA-Food and Drug Administration in force on the date of publication of this specification. The additives present are covered in appropriate regulation by FDA.
