IE59U3 by Braskem is a translucent/ white, narrow molecular weight,high density polyethylene homopolymer grade. Contains light stabilizer and antioxidant additive. Does not contain the substance Bisphenol A (BPA, CAS # No. 80-05-7) in its composition. Insoluble in water while soluble in xylene. Offers high stiffness & impact strength, good processability and low warpage. It can be processed using injection molding. Suitable for large containers, technical articles with high mechanical & weathering resistance, buckets, trash containers, crates and safety helmets. IE59U3 by Braskem meets the requirements for olefin polymers as defined in 21 CFR, section 177.1520 issued by FDA-Food and Drug Administration in force on the date of publication of this specification. The additives present are covered in appropriate regulation by FDA.
