PN2021

PN2021 by Braskem is a translucent/ white, insoluble, Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) with high vinyl-acetate (19.0%, w/w) copolymer grade. Contain Antioxidant. Does not contain the substance Bisphenol A (BPA, CAS # No. 80-05-7) in its composition. Insoluble in water. Exhibits easy processability, high compatibility with mineral fillers & thermoplastic and elastomeric resins. Other important characteristics are elasticity, flexibility, excellent stress cracking resistance (ESCR), chemical resistance, and low temperature strength. The exclusive morphologic characteristics give an outstanding crosslinkability. The components produced with PN2021 have the following properties lightness, resistance to deformation, low shrink, high capacity of sticking and color retention. It can be processed using compounding. Suitable for shoe components such as soles, insoles, expanded and/or cross linked artifacts for toys, games, floats, advertising and office materials, tubing & profiles and polymeric blends. PN2021 by Braskem meets the requirements for “Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Copolymers”, as defined in 21 CFR, section 177.1350 issued by FDA-Food and Drugs Administration in force on the date of publication of this specification. The additives present are covered in appropriate regulation by FDA.
