Blend of thermoplastic starch (TPS) with polyolefin's. It is compatibilized to offer a high level of mechanical strength, outstanding elongation properties and toughness. It is formulated with 50% of renewable thermoplastic starch polymer. Is suitable for a wide range of products manufactured by injection molding, extrusion or blow moling processes. Due its content of polyolefins the material is not a fully biodegradable polymer and is not intended for ultimate disposal in commercial composting facilities. Used in blow molding of jars, multi-layer containers and bottles.
