NYCAST® 6PA MoS₂

NYCAST® 6PA MoS₂ by Cast Nylons is a light-weight, water-insoluble PA (polyamide) 6 grade filled with lubricant. Exhibits high crystallinity, good compressive strength, good wear resistance and low coefficient of friction. Typical applications include bearings, wear pads, gears, valve seals, pulleys, sprockets, sheaves, wear plate, wear shoes and thrust washers. It meets requirement of (EC) No. 1935/2004 and (EU) No. 10/2011 for materials and articles intended to come in contact with food stuff. Complies with RoHS, European Parliament Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE) and Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) 15 U.S.C. 2601 (1976). NYCAST® 6PA MoS₂ is incompatible with strong acids and strong oxidizing materials.
