Ateva® 1821A

Ateva® 1821A by Celanese is a clear to white colored, water insoluble, flexible, low gel, low organoleptic, odorless, additive free, low cost ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer grade. Exhibits good strength, transparency, excellent sealing properties, improved optical properties and excellent adhesion. Offers low-temperature processing for reduced polymer degradation during manufacturing and incorporation of a wide range and high concentration of additives and fillers. Is suitable for processing by foam extrusion and compounding. It produces soft resilient foams for shoe midsoles, pipe insulation and high-end mattresses for crosslinked or open cell foams. Recommended for concentrates, fragrances and functional additives to cap liners, wire and cable compounds, multi-layer food packaging, personal care films, decorative label films, greenhouse & agricultural films and a wide range of industrial packaging applications. Ateva® 1821A complies with USP class VI and REACH regulations.
