Celanex® 2016 30/2229

Celanex® 2016 30/2229 by Celanese is an unreinforced, non-exuding, semi-crystalline, flame retarded polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). It contains release agent. It can be processed using injection molding. It exhibits a good balance of mechanical properties & processability, high strength, rigidity, toughness, low creep even at high temperatures, rapid crystallization, fast cycle time, and paint-ability.

• Offers excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, powerful insulation resistance, along with resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases.
• Celanex® 2016 30/2229 is recommended for electrical connectors which require UL approved 50% regrind use capability.
• Other applications include automotive interior & exterior, water transfer systems, consumer products, appliances, specialty fabrics and filaments.
• It is UL & CSA approved V-0 at 1/32 inch and 5V at 1/8 inch.
• It complies with the PFOS, PFOA, and RoHS regulations.
