Celanex® 2016 80/0689

Celanex® 2016 80/0689 is an unreinforced, non-exuding flame retarded, semi-crystalline structure based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Exhibits a good balance of mechanical properties and processability, high strength, rigidity & toughness, low creep even at high temperatures, rapid crystallization, fast cycle time, and paint-ability. Offers excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and powerful insulation resistance, along with resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for electrical connectors which require UL approved 50% regrind use capability. Other applications include automotive interior & exterior, water transfer systems, consumer products, appliances, and specialty fabrics & filaments. It is UL & CSA approved V-0 at 1/32 inch and 5V at 1/8 inch, and complies with the PFOS, PFOA, and RoHS regulations.
