Celanex® 2401 MT® Natural

Celanex® 2401 MT® Natural by Celanese is an unreinforced, high molecular weight, semi-crystalline polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Exhibits ideal sliding & wear behavior, high dimensional stability, good chemical resistance to polar & non-polar solvents, gamma-resistance up to 50 kGy, medium flow, rigidity, high strength, flexibility, rapid crystallization, fast cycle time, excellent impact resistance, very low friction or noise, no environmental stress cracking, excellent colorability and good barrier properties.

• Can be processed using injection molding.
• Recommended for medical technology applications including drug delivery systems, sliding mechanisms, snap fittings, clips & clamps, and functional parts with high dimensional precision and stability.
• It has displayed excellent biocompatibility and contains no animal derived materials.
