Celanex® 3216 EC3108 Gray

Celanex® 3216 EC3108 Gray by Celanese is a crystalline, non-exuding, flame-retardant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) reinforced with 15% glass fiber. It can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for electrical connectors which require UL approved 50% regrind use capability, brush holders, ignition components, motor bells & end caps, multipin edge-card connectors, power- or signal connectors, relay cases & covers, sensor housings, sockets, surface mount technology connectors, and terminal boards.

• Exhibits good balance of mechanical properties & processability, high heat-distortion temperature, high thermal stability, excellent electrical insulation resistance, high strength, rigidity and paintability.
• Celanex® 3216 EC3108 Gray provides rapid crystallization & fast cycle time, low creep even at high temperatures, very good low friction, wear- & weathering resistance, no environmental stress cracking, and good electrical properties.
• Offers good dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, along with resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases.
• It is UL & CSA approved as V-0 at 1/32 inch and 5V at 1/8 inch, and complies with the REACH and RoHS regulations.
