Celanex® 3216 EJ4209 Green

Celanex® 3216 EJ4209 Green by Celanese is a crystalline, non-exuding, flame-retardant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) reinforced with 15% glass fiber. It contains lubricant. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It exhibits an excellent balance of mechanical properties & processability, high heat-distortion temperature, high thermal stability and excellent electrical insulation resistance.

• Provides high strength, rigidity, paintability, rapid crystallization, fast cycle time, low creep even at high temperatures, very good low friction, wear- & weathering resistance, no environmental stress cracking, and good electrical properties.
• Offers good dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, along with resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases.
• Suitable for electrical connectors which require UL approved 50% regrind use capability.
• It is used in brush holders, ignition components, motor bells & end caps, multipin edge-card connectors, power- or signal connectors, relay cases & covers, sensor housings, sockets, surface mount technology connectors, and terminal boards.
• It is UL & CSA approved as V-0 at 1/32 inch and 5V at 1/8 inch.
• Celanex® 3216 EJ4209 Green complies with the REACH and RoHS regulations.
