Celanex® 5202 ED4290 Appliance Black is a semi-crystalline polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) reinforced with 15 % glass. Exhibits an excellent balance of mechanical properties, processability & color stability under heat & UV exposure, improved surface gloss, high strength, rigidity & toughness, low creep even at high temperatures, rapid crystallization, fast cycle time, paintability, good electrical properties, no environmental stress cracking, good weathering resistance, very good low friction and wear resistant properties. Offers excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption and powerful insulation resistance, along with resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for oven handles. It complies with the PFOS, PFOA, and RoHS regulations.
