FORTRON® 1131L4 ITT

FORTRON® 1131L4 ITT is a linear, semicrystalline, flame retardant polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) grade reinforced with 40% glass fiber. Is relatively impermeable to gases, hydrocarbons and other liquids compared to other materials. Provides high dimensional stability, low coefficient of friction, low shrinkage, excellent mechanical properties, creep resistance at high temperatures, high continuous use temperature (160°C to 240°C) and very low moisture absorption. Offers high hardness, high rigidity and excellent resistance to corrosion, hydrolysis, oxidation, heat and paraffin buildup. Shows excellent chemical resistance to all solvents below 200°C, acids, bases, typical and alternative automotive fuels and petroleum fluids at elevated temperatures. Can be processed by injection molding. Is suitable for lead-free soldering and metal replacement applications. Complies with RoHS, PFOS and PFOA regulations.
