FORTRON® 1200L1 SF3001 NATURAL by Celanese is a linear, semi-crystalline polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) specialty grade. It is relatively impermeable to gases, hydrocarbons and other liquids compared to other materials. It offers high melt viscosity and tensile elongation, high hardness and high rigidity. It provides high dimensional stability, low coefficient of friction, low shrinkage, excellent mechanical properties, creep resistance at high temperatures, high continuous use temperature (160°C to 240°C) and very low moisture absorption. Exhibits excellent resistance to corrosion, hydrolysis, oxidation, heat and paraffin buildup. It shows excellent chemical resistance to all solvents below 200°C, acids, bases, typical and alternative automotive fuels and petroleum fluids at elevated temperatures. FORTRON® 1200L1 SF3001 NATURAL can be processed by injection molding and extrusion. It is suitable for metal replacement applications. It complies with RoHS, PFOS and PFOA regulations.
