Hostaform® C 2521 XAP® 14 BLACK by Celanese is a stiff flowing type, very hard and rigid, heavy-metal free POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade. Exhibits outstanding chemical (solvents, fuels & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance.

Also exhibits toughness (up to -40°C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100°C), very good slip/ wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption, higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers.
Hostaform® C 2521 XAP® 14 BLACK is suitable for injection molding of thick-walled, void-free molded parts and extrusion of boards & pipes.
