Hostaform® C 52021 NATURAL

HOSTAFORM® C 52021 NATURAL is an extremely easy flowing, very hard and rigid, heavy-metal free POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade. Exhibits outstanding chemical (solvents, fuels & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance. Also exhibits toughness (up to -40°C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100°C), very good slip/ wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers. Also shows easy colorization. Permits processing at reduced temperature and shorter cycle times. It can be processed by injection molding. Suitable for lower mechanical requirement applications and very thin-walled precision molded parts having unfavorable flow-path wall thickness relation.
