Teflon™ AF 1600

Teflon™ AF 1600 by Chemours is an amorphous fluoroplastic grade. Available in solid shapes like rods, tubes, bars, and sheet of various thicknesses. Possesses good electrical properties, low thermal conductivity, good mechanical strength and surface finish. Exhibits high compressability & gas permeability, rigidity and low mold shrinkage. Offers optical clarity, good dimensional stability, high creep and temperature resistance. Teflon™ AF 1600 is suitable for processing by extrusion, injection and compression molding. Used in electronic circuit boards & hybrid devices, pipes & fittings, conveyor belts, sheets, chemical and industrial applications. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.
